There are some AMAZING games for teaching financial literacy. Parents/guardians and children should play these games TOGETHER to ensure financial concepts are grasped.

So let’s get started! These are three games you need to be playing with your kids for optimum financial literacy.

The Entrepreneur Game

Created by Black entrepreneur with awards galore for his innovative spirit, Elliott Eddie invented “The Entrepreneur Game” to teach kids and adults alike “how to start and build a successful home-based and brick & mortar business in the comfort of your own home.”

Kiddie Kredit

This free app uses chores to teach kids the fundamentals of credit. From predatory loans to credit redlining practices, protecting ourselves against financial discrimination has never been more important.

With a game like this, kids learn money basics and how to improve and maintain a good “kredit” score, a skill that will come in handy despite discriminating financial institutions.

Practical Money Skills

This online resource started by Visa is great for any age! With a variety of games, like Financial Soccer and Peter Pig’s Money Counter, and even tools for classroom use, this site is chock full of games that will test you and your family’s financial skills.

No matter how you and your family and friends learn these financial concepts, remember they’re IMPORTANT. Whether you’re trying to start a business, pay away debt, or just get your kids off on the right foot, to have financial literacy is to be self-empowered.
