Yes, Angela Bassett is known for her superb acting. But at 60 years old, she’s also health and beauty goals, with gorgeous brown skin that has her looking decades younger.

And she wants us to look and feel just as good with her luxury skincare line called Darker Skin Tones, which specifically addresses the unique needs of dark brown skin!

With melanin, our skin has a superior structure - compared to white skin, it’s firmer and more elastic, which protects us from sun-induced aging and skin cancer.

But the downside is our skin tends to get inflamed, which can lead to hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration. Bassett’s new skincare line contains ingredients with “potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and wound healing properties.”

So, that’s why Bassett teamed up with Dr. Barbara Sturm and put in two years of research to launch her skincare line.

With natural ingredients that are clinically proven to reduce inflammation and improve skin at the cellular level, Angela is holding us down: “I like [women] to be pleased when they look in the mirror, to feel good about themselves and the condition of their complexion.”

After decades of neglect, brown skin women have lots of beauty and skin options thanks to pioneers like Angela Bassett!

For those of us with darker hues, Darker Skin Tones is definitely a game-changer! Thank you, Angela!
