Kevon L. Chisolm, Esq. has a passion for uplifting the community through wealth-building. But when he realized many of his clients struggled with money management, he started an investment club consulting service called Black WallStreeter Consultation Services, LLC.

What’s even more amazing is that he teamed up with his 11-year-old son, Kevon Kamari Chisolm, Jr., for the venture!

Kevon Kamari is quite the “Junior Wallstreeter!” He is already investing in an exchange-traded fund (ETF), two stocks, and budgets the money he earns from chores and receives as gifts!

So what is an investment club? It’s a group of individuals who meet for the purpose of pooling money and investing - it can be key to unlocking wealth-building opportunities.

The Chisolm duo’s services provide clients with informative seminars and researched-based strategies for financial goals, like paying for college and saving for retirement.

Chisolm has served as president of Umoja Investments, LLC for more than 15 years and is the creator of Stock Tracker by WallStreeter, a pocket journal geared for people new to investing.

If you want a lesson in family business, empowering our children, and helping each other get money smart - all while investing in the community - look no further than this father-son duo. They know what they’re doing!
