Diabetes has a huge impact on our communities with nearly 1-in-8 Black people managing the disease. We’re also more likely to die from and undergo amputations due to diabetes, compared to whites. In fact, our rate of amputations from diabetes is so disproportionate that it’s considered a “mega-disparity.”

Yet, Trump allows pharmaceutical companies like Eli Lilly to increase insulin prices for PERSONAL PROFIT. Well, Affordable Insulin NOW, a project of Health Care Voter, is highlighting the stories of patients struggling to afford treatment so we can fight for a change!

Affordable Insulin NOW educates the public about the corruption of the pharmaceutical industry by amplifying patient stories, especially those whose lives are continuously put at risk by this corruption.

From the boardrooms of pharmaceutical companies to the halls of Congress and the White House, Affordable Insulin NOW is making patients’ voices heard to let them know that access to health care should be a right, not a privilege!

Affordable Insulin NOW is mobilizing people to demand action from our elected officials and candidates and push Trump and Congress to take action and address insulin pricing.
