This Is Starting To Look Like A Legal Lynching

Curtis Flowers has been on Death Row for 22 years, but the state of Mississippi is having a hard time trying to execute him. As a matter of fact they’ve tried SIX TIMES. He’s accused of four murders, but a messy case and blatantly racist jury selection expose many issues.

District Attorney Doug Evans has tried Curtis Flowers each of the six times, but guess what? Every time, he’s used his power to make sure there are NO Black people on the jury. As a matter of fact, he’s struck 41 out of 42 Black people from potentially serving.

What Evans is doing is not legal. The Supreme Court has reversed this case MULTIPLE times because of his misconduct, saying he can not exclude people on the basis of race. Doug doesn’t care though! He’s got his mind made up, he wants Curtis EXECUTED.

In a 7-2 ruling, the Supreme Court just overturned the conviction because of all this corruption. Clarence Thomas sold out as usual, but even conservative Justices like Trump’s pick Brett Kavanaugh, who wrote for the majority, pointed out the ridiculousness in this case.

NBC reports: “Thomas said that the one redeeming quality of the majority ruling was that it left prosecutors ‘free to convict Curtis Flowers again.’” Unfortunately, he’s not lying, and they probably will try again. This is what legalized lynching looks like.
