When plainclothes officers confronted 21-year-old William Smith for allegedly robbing a pizza shop in Hugo, Oklahoma, tragedy soon unfolded.

Police say Smith tried to drive off, nearly hitting them, and claimed this forced them to shoot at him, a woman, and her four children. They ending up recklessly shooting and wounding THE KIDS!

Some witnesses say the police CHOSE to shoot.

“My 4-year-old daughter was shot in the head, and she has a bullet in her brain, and my 5-year-old has a skull fracture,” the children’s mother Olivia Hill told KFOR. Her 1-year-old also had a wound to the face, and thankfully her 2-year-old wasn’t touched.

The children survived the incident, but needless to say, they’re traumatized. Sadly, this isn’t just some isolated accident.

The former police chief says it’s “hard to believe” police didn’t know those kids were in the car when they shot.

The Black community is upset and they’re demanding answers. But calls to the police department have gone unanswered.

These officers handled the situation terribly and we don’t need any more cops who are trigger-happy with Black people.

It’s still unknown whether these children are permanently injured, but officers like this have got to go. Chief Jon Paul Bozeman needs to fire these officers and the DA Mark Matloff needs to press charges. We have the ability to let them know! Sign the Petition HERE.
