Was It Divine Providence, Aliens, Or Science That Guided Them?

Since 3200 BCE, the Dogon people have meticulously studied and mapped the heavens, showcasing a level of astronomical expertise far ahead of many civilizations of their time. They say their understanding came from the heavens.

The Dogon accurately described the orbit and characteristics of Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, long before modern telescopes confirmed their claims. Their connection to the cosmos runs deep within their cultural fabric, shaping their rituals, beliefs, and everyday lives.

Whispered legends speak of beings from beyond the stars, visitors from the distant realm of Sirius A, who enlightened them. These messengers shared with the Dogon an intricate knowledge of the heavens that defies human understanding and even described Sirius B thousands of years before it was “discovered.”

Their ability to navigate the vastness of the universe with such precision is a testament to their wisdom and spiritual connection to something far more significant than themselves. Their culture is deeply rooted in the belief that these celestial bodies hold great significance in shaping their daily lives, guiding their traditions, and influencing their understanding of the universe.

Whether or not an alien species visited the Dogon to give them their information, they could track and monitor the stars before what modern science considered relevant. Then again our Blackness is out of this world!
