There’s no place like home. And for actor Idris Elba, he plans to help Sierra Leone however he can.

Simone Biles just nailed what could be her last appearance at a world championship outside of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her all-around performance earned her 5 gold medals, which brought her total medal count to 25, securing her spot in gymnastics history as the greatest of all time.

Crowds gawked at her performance during the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Stuttgart, Germany from October 4 - 13. And with her latest feat of logic-defying acrobatics, both she and the world continues to wonder just who can beat her.

One of the foundations of the American criminal justice system is that the punishment for breaking a law should be proportionate to the severity of the law broken - in other words, the punishment should fit the crime. That’s enshrined in the 8th Amendment to the constitution, which prohibits “cruel and unusual punishment.”

A shortage in drugs that were previously used to execute prisoners has flipped the question of the death penalty on its head in the United States and sent several states scrambling for new ways to execute.

Chicago State Attorney Kim Foxx came into office with a progressive mandate to make big changes in a city that’s seen far too many negative headlines. When it comes to criminal justice, the challenge before her was huge. But now, the changes she’s made have inspired some - and potentially disturbed others.
