George Floyd’s killing shook the nation and was mourned worldwide as the naked racism of murderous police brutality was captured on camera, yet again.

Burials are supposed to be a place to grieve, but authorities still had deadly plans prepared for Floyd’s burial.

Police in Pearland, Texas invited federal agents to surveil the burial of George Floyd. Furthermore, they were authorized to gas attendees and use deadly force if they felt it was necessary!

The details of these plans are truly depraved.

At least 6 sniper teams were stationed, ready to open fire! FBI flight surveillance was in place, as well as “overwatch units” to monitor the crowd. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was there with militarized tactical units.

What’s worse? The disturbing words outlined in secret documents.

“Deadly force is authorized any time,” they said. “Less lethal/gas munitions” could have been deployed too, if anyone was aggressive with authorities – even verbally. While authorities claim it was about safety, even the prospect is a disgrace. Past revelations show why.

Black people have been referred to as “enemy combatants” by authorities, from Ferguson to now. We’re always treated like a threat.

A burial is very sacred, but so is Black life at any other time. Authorities refusing to treat it as such shouldn’t have the ability to kill us as they please!
