A Black Cop Is Being Attacked By His Own Department

St. Louis Officer Milton Green did everything he was supposed to do. When a police chase cut through his neighborhood, the off-duty Green identified himself as police and went into action to help.

As soon as an on-duty officer ordered him to the ground, Green complied. Fortunately, that officer recognized Green. But just as the situation began to clear, things took a terrible turn.

Another responding officer, Christopher Tanner, showed up as Green gave a description to his colleague with his BADGE IN HAND. Tanner ordered Green to drop his weapon then immediately SHOT HIM before he could even comply.

The Chief initially lied and called this shooting “friendly fire.”

Christopher Tanner, a white man, was only put on administrative leave. The police union even held a fundraiser for him! Meanwhile, Green’s life is in ruins.

Green’s house is facing foreclosure, his kids - who witnessed the shooting! - need therapy, his arm is permanently damaged, and now he’s a single parent, too.

Seeing who they truly are, Green is suing the city, the police department, and the officer. He doesn’t have any other choice!

While Christoper Tanner is seemingly rewarded, Milton Green is being punished. It goes to show “Blue lives” DO NOT MATTER when the officer is Black. Truth is, being a Black cop does not make you safe.
