The Wayans family was inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame... For many parents, raising 10 children would be extremely difficult. But Howell and Elvira Wayans did it-only on $12,000 a year.

The Wayans family may have found their gifts of humor through hardship, but what they really gained was an unbreakable bond that would continue throughout their adulthood. Their childhoods taught them to take tough circumstances and create fun, lighthearted, and nurturing experiences.

Of course, we know many Wayans siblings for their comedic gifts, but some also direct, produce, educate, publish books, and much more.

This iconic family is estimated to have over $300 million in net worth, but we shouldn’t focus on the number. The key is that they were able to create a legacy over the past 40 years and continue to strive to preserve that legacy TOGETHER.
