A Large Presidential Crackdown On Protesting Cities

It started with protesters being kidnapped by agents in Portland, Oregon, where protests have continued non-stop since George Floyd was killed. The Trump administration has blamed it all on “violent” protesters, and now Trump has a disturbing plan for Black cities.

With the assistance of one of George W. Bush’s torture architects, he’s planning to “rule by decree.” He wants to effectively bypass Congress and abuse executive orders even more than he already has. It’s the cities Trump wants to target that tells us everything we need to know.

“I’m going to do something,” Trump said. Where? “New York and Chicago and Philadelphia and Detroit and Baltimore and all of these - Oakland is a mess,” he told reporters

He blames “liberal Democrats,” saying “We’re not going to let this happen in our country.” And that’s not all.

There’s already resistance and legal action, but that hasn’t deterred Trump. He’s using Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and other agencies to target Black cities. These occupations are a direct threat to Black America.

“Nobody will have done what I’m doing in the next four weeks,” Trump warned. Trump’s increasing fascism will be felt by Black communities, who his Attorney General has already threatened. Our fight against state violence isn’t over yet, and we can’t let this stop it!
