Meet Nick Starr-Street. Angered at the sight of Black women minding their own business at a community pool, he chastised them for breaking the rules against using glassware.
One of the women said she’d get rid of it to appease him, but as she attempted to de-escalate the situation, he escalated it all the way to calling the police!
Nick went to their leasing office and reported them, then went on to call the POLICE. Yes. So upset by these innocent Black women, he thought law enforcement should be involved. Meanwhile, these women were recording the entire incident in disgust!
The police showed up and couldn’t determine any law was being broken. Then the unthinkable happened.
The very next day, Nick did the SAME THING to different Black women with glass at the pool. He pressed charges against one woman for knocking his phone from his hand, even following them to their car.
Nick blames autism, but last we checked autism doesn’t cause racism. Also, one of the women is pressing charges against him, too. And thanks to the internet, people discovered Nick’s history of being bigoted online!
It’s too bad we have to deal with people like Nick. Black people deserve to be able to unwind and enjoy life without harassment, but unfortunately, some people refuse to let us live!
