You Need To Watch Out For Racists Like This Guy

Meet Brandon Cory Lecroy of Lexington County, South Carolina. Using a racist tactic from the not-so-gone past, this man decided he wanted to LYNCH his Black neighbor and take his land, but things didn’t work out as planned.

Lecroy claimed that his Black neighbor often came onto his property, asking for food and trying to start fights with him. However, what was really going on was much more sinister. Lecroy was, in fact, plotting to STEAL his Black neighbor’s land!

And he reached out to the KKK to do it.

Just like it was 1919, Lecroy attempted to get in touch with the KKK to help him lynch his neighbor. The problem was, he got in touch with an FBI agent working undercover instead!

At first, Lecroy pled not guilty, but then perhaps common sense finally kicked in. He withdrew and pled guilty to trying to hire someone for murder. Now, he’s been sentenced to 10 years.

Just because Brandon’s plan didn’t work doesn’t mean that we don’t have anything to fear. There are STILL white people trying to lynch us in 2019.

We have to keep our eyes open, because, in this anti-Black country, anyone could be out to get us - be it the authorities, hate groups, or even our NEIGHBORS!
