During the 2020 election, Joe Biden called Donald Trump “one of the most racist presidents” ever.
But the truth is that Trump is the rule, not the exception! Here is a list of some of the most racist moments from elected Heads of State.
In a newly-uncovered audio recording, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan had a conversation where Reagan calls African people “monkeys” who are “still uncomfortable wearing shoes.”
Remember that the Reagan administration engineered the crack epidemic in the 80s and, with Nixon, created the War on Drugs to destroy the Black community.
The idea that George Washington’s teeth were made out of wood was actually a lie. Some of his teeth were pulled from the mouths of the enslaved!
While he wasn’t president at the time, our current sitting President Joe Biden has a very anti-Black past: he was literally a major architect of mass incarceration.
“Every major crime bill since 1976 that’s come out of this Congress, every minor crime bill,” he admitted, “has had the [signature] of … Joe Biden.”
Any president elected by the United States will be anti-Black because the United States is anti-Black. We have to challenge the whole system entirely!
