A Fascist Group Still Has Big Plans

Unite the Right rally

Patriot Front has been reported to be one of the most active white supremacist groups in the nation. This white nationalist group was born from a breakaway from another facist group following the deadly Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, VA. Now they have big plans.

White supremacist groups of all sorts precede the Trump Administration. They’ve been increasing since the Obama Administration too – but undoubtedly they’ve felt emboldened by a president who has refused to condemn them. The 2020 election raised an important issue.

Patriot Front sees Trump as a tool that has been favorable towards their cause, but they want something much bigger than what they feel he has to offer. They have a complete, white supremacist reenvisioning of the world around them – and that’s obviously a major threat to Black people.

Members follow the leadership of Thomas Rousseau. Many have been arrested on weapons charges, among other things. Their vision is a reality that’s even more racist than the U.S. already is, and their long-term plans will continue no matter who’s in office.

White supremacist organizations like Patriot Front remain unfazed by politics in terms of their agendas. They’re recruiting young white people every day to build a movement that will outlast term limits. Knowing this, we should be prepared for anything.
