How Did The Cops Get This Identity Wrong?

Jada Noone was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police and sent to jail for a crime she didn’t commit. This happens to Black people enough for it to not be surprising, but what makes this case different is the actual suspect was WHITE.

How did Jada get confused for a white woman? They’re saying it’s mistaken identity but it still doesn’t add up. The white woman who actually did it has crooked teeth and a chest tattoo, but Jada had NEITHER of those things... plus she’s BLACK.

To make it worse Jada had to PROVE that she was Black. State Deputy Attorney General Daniel Gallagher even said he wasn’t sure if she had the tattoo removed and dental work. As we know, being Black is often crime enough!

Jada’s bail was set at $75,000 for felony possession with intent to deliver. She waived the preliminary hearing because she didn’t want to be in jail.  The whole situation was a disaster.

This case shows another way that bail messes over people who are undeserving. Jada’s charges were dropped by the DA, but now she’s suing. After all she went through, we hope she wins.
